Disturbia

Disturbia is a recent movie with Shia LaBeouf. It's a thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat during the whole movie. With a bit of romance and more action this movie has everything. In comparison to Rear Window I do believe that it is some what similar but it does have its differences, I don't see Disturbia as copying Rear Window but as in taking the idea and making it more modern, so I understand why the owners of Rear Window are suing the creators of Disturbia but it is fairly unneccessary because they are both now classics and each made a lot of money and are family favorites, but as in terms of principles Rear Window has every right to sue the creators of Disturbia.

Rear Window

As a fan of Alford Hitchcock, "Rear Window" is a personal favorite. It is a thrilling film about a murder that happens across the street from a well known photography, whose leg is broken. The nosey photographer Jeff sees the murder and is now convinced he has to solve it and prove the criminal guilty. Jay Healey was terrified during the fight scence between Jeff (James Stewart) and Mr. Thorwald (Raymond Burr), he was hiding behind his backpack in suspense. Overall the movie was exciting and very good.
